ExoClick introduces a new pre-roll in-stream video ad format
Barcelona, Spain. June 23, 2016: ExoClick, the innovative ad network, today announced that it has launched a new pre-roll in-stream video ad format. It is compatible with all major video players that use Flash and HTML5 and it can also be integrated within custom players.
The ad format is inserted at the beginning of existing video content on a publisher’s site such as a movie scene or trailer. The video ad will automatically play as a pre-roll ad when a user clicks to play the video content they decided to watch. The ad’s content is customizable with clickable calls to action in order to encourage consumers to click through to the product or offer. ExoClick’s pre-roll in-stream video ad format conforms to the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s industry VAST standard.*
For publishers, the ad format places high quality, premium video ads on their site. Video ads are proven to generate higher revenues using the CPV (cost per view) pricing model. Furthermore, publishers have control over the video format by adding a ‘skip this ad’ button within the advertisement.
Advertisers can now create premium content video ads to tell a compelling story about their offers and engage the consumer with customizable calls to action. Frequency capping is available for effective retargeting and advertisers can access real time statistics on impressions, part views, greater than 10 second views and completed views.
