#1 New Feature for Advertisers! Third Party Tracking URLs

One of the best ad network feature updates and innovations of 2024 was the Third-party tracking URLs. This is an event tracking tool that provides a fast, effective, and cost-efficient alternative to creating VAST Video Tags. Traditionally, if you wanted to track deeper insights on your video ads you needed to implement a VAST Tag. However, with ExoClick’s Third-party tracking URL feature, you can track the number of specific variations in the viewer’s experience like video duration, video tracking, and end user actions without needing a VAST Tag. #2 Increase demand on your ad zones with RDAs

In 2024, we added additional RDA formats including FPI, Instant Message, and Sticky Banner zones. RDAs or Responsive Display ads are Banner ads that automatically adjust their size to fit multiple ad placements, opening up opportunities for Advertisers to access more inventory. Advertisers only need to upload images (300x300px) and texts (title, description, and brand) for a campaign, and ExoClick’s system will automatically create several different ad creatives in multiple sizes to fit specific placement requirements, saving Advertisers time and resources. Responsive Display ads are also a fantastic option for Publishers since more Advertisers can bid for their ad zones, increasing demand and revenues. Because they adapt to fit the sizes and requirements of each ad zone, they also provide a great end user experience. So try this feature to get the most out of ExoClick’s platform

#3 Publishers: Create a great user experience with Async tags 

When looking at how ExoClick Innovated in 2024, Async tags are important to note. They are now also available on Slider Video ads! ExoClick’s Asynchronous tags help you avoid slow loading times on your website. Usually, the script tags on a website are render-blocking, which means that your end user’s browser won’t display your website’s content until the entire script has run. Async synchronizes your website load speed with your ads ensuring the end user can see your website as quickly as possible. Async tags lead to a significant improvement in performance and of course, a better end user experience on your website, since content loads faster. Ad loading speed by using Asynchronous ad tags is:

  • 2.5 times faster on desktop
  • 2 times faster on mobile.
  • Somewhat faster for iFrames.

You can enable Async tags on your ad zones from your sites & zones section in your Admin Panel and they are compatible with RDAs. If you need help setting them up, contact your Account Manager.

#4 UX Improvements

When exploring how ExoClick Innovated in 2024?  UX is another way in which we improved our network. We added two new features the Campaign Bulk URL Update with Find and Replace Functionality and the simplified target blocking in statistics.

New Campaign Bulk IRL Update with Find and Replace Functionality

The Campaign Bulk URL Update with Find and Replace Functionality was added for Advertisers to the Exoclick platform in 2024. This enhancement provides a time-saving solution for managing landing pages, allowing Advertisers to update multiple campaign links simultaneously. By automating the process of finding and replacing URLs, Advertisers can eliminate the need for manual edits, significantly speeding up the updating process. This feature is especially valuable for large-scale campaigns with numerous links that require updates.

Simplified target blocking in statistics

Advertisers can now block targeting settings directly from the statistics page on the Admin Panel! This is a great way to get the most out of ExoClick’s platform. You have the ability to block any targeting options you wish for a specific campaign. Whether you’re looking to reduce the number of devices or GEOs, you can efficiently manage these settings. If you have multiple campaigns for the same ad group, it’s helpful to review each one individually, as the settings apply on a campaign basis. This way, you can ensure that each campaign is optimized effectively!

#5 ExoClick Academy

ExoClick has launched the ExoClick Academy, a free online learning platform designed for Publishers and Advertisers of all skill levels. This video-based learning portal offers three levels of expertise: basic, intermediate, and advanced. It aims to help you acquire advertising skills at your own pace.

The Academy provides an in-depth understanding of ExoClick’s platform and its features, such as Ad Refresh and Smart Bid. New pre-recorded video tutorials are regularly added, allowing you to watch them anytime, anywhere, and on any device.
